Recent ActivityThe Library Automation Service (LAS) works in conjunction with the BOCES School Library Systems to assist school districts with the automation of their school library media centers in a networked environment. The automation process enables students and teachers online access from both the classroom and the media center to the school's local collection of books, reference works, and other media.
The Regional Library Automation Service includes software updates, annual licensing fees, and training for new or existing staff. This service also provides for annual patron database uploads, customization of the database and reports, support and resolution procedures for the physical inventory process, and procedures for library database disaster recovery. On-site and remote technical support and consultation is available.
